First it was their remixes to \”How to Save a Life\” by the Fray and \”White Snow\” by Alexa Lusader. Now, it\’s their remix to \”Wild Thing\” by The Troggs. Added to the list of summer anthems, this rendition to the well-known track has been given the X5IGHT electro treatment.
In their continuous venture to experiment with different sounds, Brandon and Jerry have already touched on a wide range of styles, and this new remix is only further proof that whatever approach they work with, they get it right every time. But we might even get to listen to some next-level sound; something beyond what we\’ve heard up until this point. Challenging themselves to produce music that is not just good, but great, they\’re now aiming to keep working with their music until they\’re unquestionably proud of what they\’ve created.
\”While we feel like [we] have improved with each release, we still have probably been releasing music that\’s good, but not great. But that\’s about to change,\” says the X5IGHT team.
Their eyes are set on the music itself, which we\’ll get to experience more of on August 11th. Their first label release will be an EP that consists of 3 original tracks, and will be out through YourEDM Records. The duo will also be starting a video series called \”X5IGHTING People,\” where they will discuss the figures that have supported and inspired them. So there is definitely a lot to expect from Brandon and Jerry.
Be on the look out for the video series and their EP coming soon, but for now, listen to their remix of \”Wild Thing\” below:
