Five years ago, a producer by the name of Sonny John Moore launched a label with the hope of bringing about a collective of artists that are actively pushing themselves beyond their limits to both build a scene and a movement. This label became the SpaceX of the music industry, fostering names through the years like Kill The Noise, Porter Robinson, Dillon Francis, Getter and Marshmello, just to name a few.
This past weekend, these musical pioneers that have thrust EDM to brand new frontiers, celebrated their anniversary by bringing out their lineup to throw down at their West Coast Headquarters. A large portion of the OWSLA lineup was in attendance, with the boss, Skrillex himself, leading the charge at the celebration, even breaking dress code with a Hawaiian shirt to mark the significance of the occasion.
