Welcome to the fourth edition of Viva La Bass, a weekly playlist dedicated to showcasing innovative, avant-garde, and timeless bass music. This week on Viva La Bass, we will be exploring the future of trap and what I like to call Trip Trap. Trip Trap, otherwise known as Weird Bass or just Trap, uses odd sounds and silences, heavy bass, along with expert production skills to create groundbreaking soundscapes to make your spine spin. Producers like G Jones, Eprom, Space Jesus, Bleep Bloop, Yheti and Noer The Boy are some of the most notable names who have contributed to this Trip Trap Revolution and they seem to have awakened a beautiful beast. Check out these up and coming producers who are taking Trip Trap to new levels.
