Welcome to the twenty-first edition of Viva La Bass, a weekly playlist dedicated to showcasing innovative, avant-garde, and timeless bass music. This week\’s set of songs is dedicated to those days when you look around and say \’This was all supposed to happen.\’ This may not seem very relevant to the songs below but music can be a stepping stone for one\’s path. In my case, music has brought me to so many places that will forever reside in my memories while the creation of music has led me to learn so much more about myself. So, synchronicity. Enjoy.
5. LEViT∆TE – Savages
You probably have heard of LEViT∆TE from his collaborations with Bassnectar on \’Unlimited\’ album and \’Into the Sun\’ but this Seattle-based producer has some great stuff of his own. It\’s quite comical that many fans attribute this type of immersive sound, solely to Bassnectar , when many low-key producers are in the same realm.
4. Ayla Nereo – Tightrope Walker
Switch up. Ayla Nereo\’s spine-tingling vocals will have you swaying with the universe in no time. This track was released on The Polish Ambassador\’s music curation project, Jumpsuit Records.
3. ill-esha – Sideways View
This is the final track off ill-esha\’s new Wordless EP and this talented producer did incredible work here. If you\’re into that future chill vibe and she\’s not on your radar, you\’ve been snoozing.
2. Artifakts – Stellar
The vibes are too real on this new tune from Milwaukee-based producer Artifakts. Artifakts will be touring throughout the fall with a stop in Chicago on November 18th!
1. Shades – Gravediggin
Shades. Shades. Shades. This is the collaboration project of Eprom and Alix Perez. Viva La Bass.
