Ultra Music Festival announced its acquisition of the Winter Music Conference (WMC) and the International Dance Music Awards (IDMAs), further extending its already massive reach in the dance music industry.
Now in its 33rd consecutive year, WMC has a long history as the premier conference for the dance music industry. The acquisition pairs two Miami-based dance music icons to create an incredible week of electronic music, cementing Miami’s status as the destination for music lovers.
Russel Faibisch, Ultra Co-Founder & CEO says of the acquisition, “For over thirty years, WMC has been integral to Miami’s storied relationship with dance music.
