At Creamfields music festival last weekend, two men were arrested on Friday as police found more than 100 ecstasy tablets. The tablets were found concealed in bottles of shampoo as the men were attempting to enter through the VIP entrance at the fest. According to the full story from BBC, both were arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent of supplying.
Superintendent Beverley Raistrick said \”Police have found tablets hidden in various containers including Coke cans, drink bottles and deodorant cans. It is not uncommon for us to find drugs hidden in various containers in this way.\”
Creamfields had an extremely strict security policy this year, complete with dogs and \”surrender bins\” that attendees were advised to put weapons or drugs in prior to searches to avoid dealing with harsher penalties if their substances were found.
