This year marked the 10th anniversary of the world-acclaimed Tomorrowland festival, held annually in Boom, Belgium. As one of the first and largest EDM festivals out there, Tomorrowland has certainly made a name for itself, attracting the biggest and best electronic music artists of this era.
ID&T and SFX Entertainment decided to expand this venture to America, creating a spin-off called TomorrowWorld that premiered in Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia last year. David Guetta announced this year during his Sunday set at Tomorrowland that the festival would be expanding to Brazil in 2015.
Many laughed, many hoped, many doubted. But whatever the case, today proved that the EDM spirit is alive and well, especially in South America. Ticket sales opened today, September 6, 2014, and sold out in less than 3 hours. The festival will take place from May 1-3, 2015. It is sure to be epic!
