People get tattoos for different reasons; some to remember the passing of a relative or friend, others to show their artistic side, but now you may literally be able to create music using your fresh ink. Russian media artist Dmitry Morozov had a simple goal, which was to “represent the artist and his instrument as a creative hybrid.” He has created a device that scans your tattoos to sync with the black line sensor that slides across your body. In essence you can create music by moving your arm up and down and adjusting the scanner while it reads your ink. It may sound crazy, and may be even crazier to watch, see for yourself in the video below.
