Fresh off the successes of \”Lionhearted\”, \”Sea of Worlds\” and \”Sad Machine\”, Porter Robinson is back again with another single off his upcoming album \”Worlds\”. In an exclusive interview with Vogue Magazine, Robinson premiered his new track \”Flicker\” which has a very unique sound, reminiscent to that of \”a sci-fi vision of the future\”. Flicker features many PR signature qualities, and fits with the general theme of the other tracks off his album. Porter also stated that, \”the robotic-sounding lyrics on the latest single from Flicker are sung not by a human, but a text-to-speech translation program that apes human speech like a benevolent cyborg from outerspace\” – talk about experimental. Anyways, Porter Robinson\’s new album \”Worlds\” will be available for purchase on August 12th, and you can expect \”Flicker\” to be made available for download tomorrow. Until then, feel free to stream it in its entirety down below.
