NOISIA is a Dutch electronic music trio comprising of Nik Roos, Martijn van Sonderen, and Thijs de Vlieger. Known for producing drum and bass, the trio is highly regarded for their sound production and artistic execution. In an interview with NEST HQ, Skrillex describes the importance of NOISIA to him and the talent within the trio.
They think about what they have to say and they say it in every song. Without words. It’s not randomness. It’s calculated.
NOISIA took over OWSLA Radio on October 8th, ingeniously playing 47 tracks in two hours. Being one of Skrillex\’s biggest musical inspirations, he introduces the trio as \”pioneers in sound design and some of my mentors in my early years of producing music\”.
I remember especially Nick from NOISIA was one of the first guys who made me feel like the stuff I was making wasn’t just demo quality. He was like, \’No, that’s good! That’s you. It doesn’t need anything else.\’
