The 58th annual Grammy Awards are now over, and all of the awards have gone to their well deserving owners. Some artists left the Grammys on top of the world, two of which being Skrillex and Diplo. The duos collaborative project Jack Ü left the Staples Center in Los Angeles with two awards — one for the Best Dance Recording (\”Where Are Ü Now\” feat. Justin Bieber) and one for the Best Dance/Electronic Album (Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü). With these two Grammys in hand, Skrillex has now become the most decorated electronic artist in the show\’s history.
Skrillex has officially beat out Daft Punk for the electronic artist with the most Grammy awards. The French duo holds six Grammys: two from their album Alive 2007, two from Random Acccess Memories, and an additional two from their song \”Get Lucky.\” Skrillex won Grammys for the work on his albums Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites and Bangarang. Before last night, Skrillex and Daft Punk both held six Grammys. Now with his work on Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü, Skrillex will walk away with the title of \”electronic artist with the most Grammys.\”
