Harm reduction service DanceSafe was shut down by Electric Forest this past weekend. DanceSafe offers drug kits and promotes safe use, which is extremely important to Electric Forest attendees. There\’s been nearly no information as to why DanceSafe was shut down, other than that it probably has something to do with the R.A.V.E. Act. Insomniac and founder Pasquale Rotella have ignored questions about it on Twitter and are completely silent about the issue. Hopefully soon we\’ll all realize that not talking about drug use and pretending it doesn\’t happen isn\’t beneficial to anyone. Read the full statement from DanceSafe\’s website here.
