Soon after his set at Ultra Music Festival in Miami which stirred up tons of controversy, Avicii claimed that he would still be releasing an album soon with a totally different type of music, where he would attempt to collaborate regular music with EDM. This didn\’t really win over the crowd at UMF, but it definitely seems like people have gotten used to it and Avicii premiered his new song \”Wake Me Up\” with Aloe Blacc which features a country hook with a very poppy-techno drop. It\’s really not EDM at all, it seems like something that\’ll end up on the radio very soon. Thoughts?
\”Wake Me Up\” will be releasing overseas on June 17th on PRMD Records.
