Released this week through small UK label Pilot Records is the debut release from D&B producer Ownglow. Landing on the scene officially for the first time, \”Gold/Tension\” is both a sophisticated and refreshing double release.
Starting with the warm, piano-led tones of \”Gold\”, Ownglow has crafted a mellow yet shimmering sound. Using vocal samples to add texture and depth, this one really resonates. On the other side comes \”Tension\”, again utilising shimmering piano notes and a slightly grittier bass line that still moves along in a fluid style.
