Skream has never given much weight to what other people think. After changing the course of music with his innovations at 140, he shrugged off image and expectation almost instantaneously by switching over to house and techno. He\’s even managed to transfer his \”no-fucks\” view on music to his live performance by helping to create J.E.S.u.S., a DJ collective with fellow house cohorts, Jackmaster, Seth Troxler, and Eats Everything.
In recent months however, the clearest example of Skream\’s carefree attitude is his label, \”OfUnsoundMind\’. Having only 7 official releases on the brand new label, each of the 7 demonstrates a fresh look at house music.
The newest EP on OfUnsoundMind is from Harry Judda, and the three tracks are a mesh of heavy bass, ominous vocal samples, and grueling transitions.
