After a widely publicized split from his home label and music titan Spinnin\’ Records, Martin Garrix hasn\’t really provided details on how he would be releasing his music in the future. There was speculation that Garrix was going to start his own competitor label, however, Garrix is a huge fan of giving away free tunes, and made that noticeable at ADE when he hinted at some free tunes in the future. Today, we get one of those free tunes.
Garrix has officially released his intro to this year\’s ADE show, \”Poison\”. The track, which is extremely emotional yet very powerful, is Garrix\’s way of giving back to his fans for getting him to the #3 spot in the DJ Mag competition, as well as, to release some new music as it has been quite a while since he\’s done so. \”Poison\”, which is available for streaming below, is the third major free release we have seen from the teenage prodigy. It\’s also very surprising that Garrix is deciding to give away such big, new tunes away – many big names in EDM don\’t do that ever, or hardly do.
Alongside the release of the single, Garrix also notes that he has a new single also in the pipelines that will likely see a free release in the future, and it is also rumored that Garrix\’s upcoming album, \”+x\”, will be releasing sometime early 2016.
