In the past few years, tropical house has been on the rise. For tropical house superstar Kygo, his fame is only growing larger and larger. The 24-year-old Norwegian DJ will take the stage at the Rio Olympic Closing Ceremony to perform his latest single \”Carry Me\” with vocalist Julia Michaels.
The Closing Ceremony will take place on Sunday, August 21st. Kygo\’s performance is part of a plan to announce the brand new Olympic Channel, a digital medium created to bring Olympic fans content year-round.
Kygo has expressed serious excitement about the event, stating “I\’ve been a sports fan forever, and to be able to combine this with my music and help launch something like the Olympic Channel is a dream come true.”
