If you\’re like most of us, then you\’ve had almost all you can take of the ongoing feud between Krewella\’s Yousaf sisters and Deadmau5. Ever since the lawsuit against former member Kris Trindle (Rain Man), the internet back-and-forth seems to resurface every week.
In this week\’s installment, Jahan Yousaf wrote a lengthy article on Billboard after a supposed \”10 months of being removed from social media\”. In it, she describes her reaction and thoughts on the numerous stabs at her and her sister found online. She included screenshots of various comments/tweets from the public, referring to the sisters as \”sellout whores\” and the \”poster children [for an] industry full of fakes\”.

She flips the conversation quickly to topics on sexism, social acceptance, and bullying, linking articles to cyber bullying statistics and suicide rates and comparing hurtful comments she\’s received to \”a huge portion of depression, self-destructiveness, and behavioral disorders\” among our youth.
Then, the female-in-a-male-dominated-industry card is pulled. The rest of the article becomes a rally cry to end internet bullying and the absorption of discriminatory beliefs. This is where Deadmau5 stepped in.
He showed no mercy as he sent a volley of tweets to Jahan, negating her entire argument and telling her to \”shove\” her 1920\’s smear sex card. Here are some of our favorites.
