Named after the Buddhist term for suffering, Dukkha marks another evolution in the fast-rising producer\’s career.
The title track is a collaboration of epic proportions. Kai Wachi has teamed up with LA-based producer LUMBERJVCK to craft a monstrous trap/dubstep hybrid. Both artists have brought out their full arsenal of synths in this frenetic banger filled with detailed bass work and otherworldly vocals. \”Dukkha\” is both a landmark achievement in sound design that all electronic music fans should appreciate as well as a certified dance-floor destroyer that will go off in the clubs.
The b-side of the EP is no less impressive. After an extended intro of massive synths and pitched-around microsamples, Kai brings on fellow Idahoan YLTI who drops a memorable verse on what should become another hybrid classic.
