Another sub-genre has emerged, as if we already didn\’t have enough; on the bright, sunny side, this one is worth checking out.
By now, all of us here in Chicago have already complained about the cold and wet weather at least once this Fall season. Here to warm things up a bit is Tropical House. The name speaks for the genre in literal terms; tropical, warm sounds combine with familiar House beats to create a soothing, relaxing product you can easily groove to anywhere, no matter how cold it really is.
Quite far from the tropical warmth, Norwegian-based producer Bearson has created his signature sound consisting of melodic, tropical ambiance that can be heard in this James Bay remix. At only 18 years of age, Bearson\’s production is rather impressive; atmospheric guitar strings contrasted with James Bay’s soulful voice puts you right under a palm tree in a sandy beach. The four-step kick sequence is sometimes ditched for a groovier breakdown filled with snaps and reverberated claps.
Feel-good music at its finest; if you need to wind down and take off some stress during all of the mid-semester mayhem, give this track a listen. You can download it for free to keep it as a handy relaxation tool.
