If you’re into EDM and going to festivals, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of Pasquale Rotella and the infamous Insomniac Events. Rotella will be celebrating Insomniac’s 25th anniversary this year in 2018 by bringing in new expansion plans and a massive upgrade to not only the events themselves but also the websites to make it easier for partygoers to purchase tickets and plan ahead.
As stated in his most recent Facebook post, Rotella updates everyone on the new website rollout that will feature tools to make it easier to get the latest information on all of Insomniac’s events. There will be a section that introduces “The Insomniac’s” who are the different characters and costumed entertainers that you see on the festival grounds. The goal here is to create an interactive website that’s not only easy to use but also fun to use learning about the different acts that make Insomniac events a truly unique experience. But that’s not the only thing getting a facelift over at Insomniac. A new logo will be introduced to pair together the 25th anniversary theme that will hopefully showcase the 25 years of the ever-evolving festival that Insomniac has strived to make unique and memorable.
With the expansion plans, Rotella did not dive into detail other than revealing two international destinations that consist of China and Japan. However, he did go onto say that there will be a few added international stops along the way. And if you’re planning on attending EDC Las Vegas this year you are in for a real treat. EDCLV has been completely re-designed and has mutliple new stage concepts for kineticFIELD, circuitGROUNDS, neonGARDEN, bassPOD, and quantumVALLEY that are mentioned to be designed around an “open air style” of production. With the start of the new year Insomniac is on the ground and running giving us a whole new face and hopefully much needed adjustments to the websites for everyone to participate and enjoy the upcoming festivals this year.
