TAO Group is bringing an iconic \’clubstaurant\’ to Chicago
It is official: TAO Group — the attractive clubstaurant brand — is planning its first concept in Chicago. The brand is known for its various celebrity-magnet restaurants and nightclub hybrids across New York City and Las Vegas.
The project is rumored to take over the former Castle space in River North, says a TAO representative.
According to a Four Corners Tavern Group representative, the local group will be partnering with TAO to bring the project to fruition.
The prominent (and apparently haunted) space has been a long time historical building in downtown Chicago. The lot has been home to an assortment of nightlife spots aside from Castle, including Excalibur and Limelight. All things considered, this seems like a pretty great spot for TAO\’s Chicago debut.
Currently, \”construction zone\” signs are posted across windows on the exterior of the former Castle space. Stay tuned for more details on TAO\’s Chicago debut as the story develops.
