After Eric Prydz released his highly anticipated debut album Opus earlier this year, fans learned from the progressive house demagogue that he had tons more unreleased music to come. Well, now he\’s hyping up his fans all over again with the upcoming EP from his Cirez D alias and we couldn\’t be more excited for this newer, darker direction. The Swedish DJ and producer gives us just a taste with two new tracks that were shared on his Soundcloud account a few days ago.
The first track, \”In the Reds,\” takes on dark, stabbing synths that progress into some heavy pounding beats that take you right into the underground, while \”Century of the Mouse\” has a classic Eric Prydz house chord progression over a darker techno loop to add a nice complexity.
The new tracks appear on the A-side of a limited red 12\” vinyl of the EP, which will be available starting on June 20. The digital release is set for May 30th on Beatport.
