The organizers of one of the world\’s most renowned electronic music festivals, Insomniac, rushed in great amounts of excitement with the release of their EDC Las Vegas 2015 Announcement Trailer on Tuesday via their YouTube. The video so far has amassed a fair share of views, about ninety thousand to be exact. The event is confirmed to take place this year at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway from Friday, June 19 to Sunday, June 21. Tickets will go on sale December 1 at 12pm PST on the EDC website.
The acclaimed festival has been held annually since it\’s inception in 1997, moving to multiple locations and new venues such as Southern California, Colorado and Texas over it\’s seventeen year history. The festival is now held annually in Florida, Nevada, Puerto Rico, Milton Keynes, Las Vegas, and for the first time this year in Mexico City. With the phenomenal success in the Las Vegas area over the past three years, the festival has grown to an attendance of over 134,000 people (attendance for 2014) generating millions for the company and millions for local revenue.
