We\’ve probably all heard enough at this point how successful of a year The Chainsmokers have had in 2016.
But here\’s one more accomplishment, genuinely worth congratulating, as Drew Taggart (27), one half of the duo, he has been inducted to the Forbes 30 under 30 Class of 2017 in the Music category.
Forbes\’ 30 under 30 is a prestigious yearly list of 30 of the most successful people under the age of 30 in 20 different categories. With platinum singles \”Closer\” and \”Don\’t Let Me Down\” under his belt, it makes sense for Taggart to join the ranks of the world\’s brightest alongside musicians like R&B megastar Gallant, pop sensation Charlie Puth, and the infamous Panda man Desiigner (Click here for the full list).
Taggart\’s honorary achievement adds along to the mountain of success The Chainsmokers have recently seen, as the duo just signed a three-year residency with Wynn Nightlife in Las Vegas, and are nominated for three Grammy awards this year under \”Best New Artist\”, \”Best Dance Recording\” for \”Don\’t Let Me Down\”, and \”Best Pop Duo/Group Performance\” for their collaboration with Halsey, who is also an Under 30 alum, \”Closer\”.
