After DJ Mag’s arguably disrespectful list of “Top 100 DJs“, they’ve decided to apologize and make it up to the EDM world by making yet another polarizing list of DJs and artists, limiting their search results to the North American continent this go around. This list, however, is somewhat different, and that this time the fate of who wins and who loses is in the hands of we mere EDM lovers, and we have more than just a raw list to choose from. The staff and writers have done the dirty work by narrowing down 16 categories that range from best breakthrough DJ to best venue in a certain region of the continent, and we, the people, then vote to decide who, what and where warrants the title of “cream of the crop” (The Mid, Primary and Smart Bar are all options for the Midwest…ya’ll better represent).
The results get announced on July 4th, so you best hurry up and hit this link to get voting and make this list worthwhile to look at. The nomination categories and nominees are listed down below so you can peep before hitting the link.
