In a male-dominated world of DJs and producers, it is always refreshing when a lady steps onto the electronic music scene and rocks dance floors all across the globe. Up-and-coming Aussie artist Alison Wonderland is no exception and is quickly rising to the top with her eclectic and party-starting mixes and tracks. Having been both a cellist in the Sydney Youth Orchestra and a bassist in a local Australian indie band, Alison has a strong musical background. In 2009, the talented musician starting focusing her attention on electronic music and began her career as a DJ. Not only is she a musical triple threat, she is also a badass behind the turntables as you can see in her mini mix video below.
Destroying dance floors from Australia to Ibiza to LA, the best part about Alison Wonderland (besides her awesome name) is her open-mind when it comes to mixing. She\’ll flawlessly go from trap to indie to hip-hop in a matter of seconds in her mixes, resulting in a beautiful kaleidoscope of sound from across the music spectra. Her remarkable talent has gained the respect of artists such as Trippy Turtle and Annie Mac and landed her deals with British multinational music recording and publishing company EMI and Australian record/event company Falcona.
