Yesterday Diplo made news after he used artist Rebecca Mock\’s work without her permission and lashed out against her on Twitter. Today, he has posted a long apology to Twitlonger. In the post, Diplo apologizes for what he did and calls himself an asshole, offering to delete the Instagram video if she would like. He says that Twitter is just a place for him to have fun. The apology also reads \”if your friends and \’supporters\’ hadn\’t attacked me, we could have probably shared some correspondence maybe even worked on something together.\”
Diplo has since changed his name on Twitter to \”Giflo\” and bragged that he gained 10,000 new followers from the situation. I can only imagine how much exposure Rebecca Mock has gained. You can check out the Instagram video in question here.
