Following ten years of smashing up the drum and bass scene, Viper Recordings have begun their celebrations upon reaching a decade milestone. It has been one hell of a journey for all involved with this inspiring label ever since its creation back in 2004, with them having worked with some of the biggest artists ever to grace scene/
With tracks such as \”Pale Blue Dot\” by The Prototypes and \”Metamorphosis\” by Insideinfo both topping Beatport charts, Viper have clearly smashed the club scene. However they also tasted sweet chart success, with the likes of Brookes Brothers gaining support from BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe as their track \”Carry Me On\” landed a solid position in the UK Independent Chart, as well having the title of ‘Hottest Record in the World’ from the radio DJ. Matrix & Futurebound also landed three releases within the UK Top 40, noticeably \”Control\” peaking at number 7.
This album really shows of the superiority that is held by the label, featuring a selection of both exclusives and historical greats from back in the day. Brand new material from a collaboration between Futurebound & Gridlok kicks of proceedings followed by another ten hot exclusives; BMotion & Chords and Six Blade & Insomniax give a couple of standout tracks.
