After a viral rant regarding Justin Bieber and Skrillex, and deleting all of his social media accounts, deadmau5 is back and has posted a rather personal, apologetic note on his Tumblr page.
In his note, linked below, deadmau5 aka Joel Zimmerman, touches on his depression issues and the fact that deactivating his accounts was a \”kneejerk reaction\”. He then apologizes to his fans and supporters for leaving so \”abruptly\”. Zimmerman concludes the note by saying he\’s going to take the holidays slow, and will resume production on the 17th.
This shows a rather personal side of deadmau5, which we haven\’t really seen other than a small tid-bit during a Skrillex Twitter rant. I, for one, am glad that deadmau5 took the time out to write this apology, and despite people\’s very mixed thoughts on him, it shows that he is human and it\’s very hard dealing with personal issues when everything you say is picked apart by the media.
Feel free to visit deadmau5\’s newly reactivated Twitter and Facebook page, and read his note below.
