Deadmau5 has recently pursued a completely different genre than his tech-house classics: hip-hop. The pair’s new piece is titled “Legendary,” a quick hip-hop track with a dark instrumentals. The two-minute song is dominated by a low bassline from Zimmerman and two savvy verses from Shotty Horroh.
Deadmau5 has previously expressed his admiration for working with Horroh, writing on Twitter: “I should just produce a whole album for Shotty Horroh… dudes so easy to work with.”
Further, there may be new tracks on the way with Shotty, as Joel tweeted the following:
Being lazy right now, but two new @ShottyHorroh tracks on the way. Much hype.
