Coachella may have just gotten itself a thief! Thirty-six year old Reinaldo De Jesus Henao was arrested at the festival on Sunday and had more than 100 stolen smartphones in his backpack. What is really unique about this case is that the Indio Police Department said that a group of users were able to locate the perpetrator on the festival grounds by using Find My iPhone.
Guess there’s a maximum number of phones you can steal before technology catches up to you! We hope this doesn’t happen at Coachella again, or any other festival for that manner.
According to reports, some people were able to get their phones, but there are many who have not. If you’re one of those people, Coachella keeps a running collection of found items on its website.
