Popular Toronto nightlife spot, The Guvernment, has officially closed its doors and is scheduled for demolition after being bought out by a waterfront condominium company. However, they did not close without a bang, bringing in some of the best electronic artists to shut the place down – one of them being Canada-native deadmau5. Joel Zimmerman, aka deadmau5, was able to play some exclusive new edits, and also played tracks live with his synthesizers, which leads for a more unique experience as opposed to playing tracks straight off of Ableton Live. Although the event wasn\’t live-streamed, and happened to have sold out in minutes, many folks have taken to YouTube to upload some tracks that Deadmau5 played, as well as other artists. Among some of those videos, is Deadmau5\’ exclusive 20-minute Strobe edit which he premiered at his Guvernment show. Check the Strobe video, as well as all other Deadmau5/Guvernment clips out below.
