As we wrap up another successful Miami Music Week, the new tracks are debuted by the dozen. Ultra Music Festival is a great place to hear your favorite DJ\’s newest taste of tunes.
One song that certainly rocked the main stage on the final day of Ultra was Vikings, which was played by Jack U (Diplo & Skrillex) and heard by thousands on live stream. This song comes to us as a collaboration from two sides that have gained deserved popularity in recent times.
Montreal based duo Botnek have taken the spotlight with their recent remix of Martin Garrix\’s big-room smasher Animals (which can be downloaded here). This track has been spun by many heavyweights and even Martin Garrix played it during his Ultra debut on Saturday.
Let\’s clear some air for a second; it\’s pronounced Blau, not three-lau. Justin Blau, also known as 3LAU, has been working hard the last year to make a sustainable name for himself. His name usually appears first on a festival lineup (because of alphabetical order) and he seems to be on many lineups this summer, including Chicago\’s own Spring Awakening. With his track featuring vocals from Bright Lights entitled How You Love Me sitting on Beatport\’s Top 10, the future looks promising for this young producer.
This collab track will be massive and definitely heard throughout the festival grounds this summer. Vikings boasts a long build up followed by energy filled kicks and knocks to fill your ears. It will be released April 7th on Dim Mak Records and has some pretty cool artwork.
