Lorin Ashton stirred up some excitement today over the Twitter…at least among his tight-night family of die hard bass heads. The \”bass god\” himself dropped some news about his newest album, which will be called \”Unlimited,\” in a series of ever-so nonchalant announcements about his work schedule over the coming weeks. The release date is set for this Friday, June 3rd — roughly one week and some days before his performance on the holy Woodstock grounds in New York.
The news itself, albeit highly-anticipated, was no surprise to his fan community and comes around the one year anniversary of his latest album, Into The Sun. The timing is strategic not only because it comes on payday; but also because it promises us new material for a BIG festival month for Ashton as he gears up for two big headlining appearances at Mystery Land USA and Electric Forest. A new LP definitely means we are going to become immersed in some brand new entrancing bass music this June!!
