Gloucester-based producer BadKlaat has been steadily climbing the Dubstep ranks for the past few years. With his signature sound creating waves throughout the bass music spectrum as of late, his highly anticipated debut EP for Dub Police entitled ‘Machine’ is ready to be unleashed.
To kick things off, BadKlaat calls in reinforcements from fellow bass prodigy Requake on the lead track ‘Oracle’, with its big Trap-style beats and ferocious synth leads setting the pace nicely. ‘Gypsy Dub’ is a straight banger and takes no prisoners with its plodding drums and glitchy bass stabs, guaranteed to send any dancefloor into hysterics – fans of ‘Get Twisted’ will be digging this one for sure. Next up is ‘Machine VIP’, which again shows no mercy; thumping kicks, hard hitting snares and robotic, warping bass, guaranteed to make your head nod. Bringing proceedings to a close is the super dark and minimal ‘Passage’.
