Chicago\’s own tropical trio, Autograf has been taking over the chiller side of dance music. They\’ve remixed the likes of Lorde, Alesso, and even Marvin Gaye with wild success, and now they\’ve released the latest in a string of original tracks: Metaphysical.
The combination of their signature (pun intended) style of live instrumentation and the lovely vocals of Janelle Kroll forms a beautiful tune with a message beyond a simple melody. Since Autograf\’s last single, Running, they plan to release every original track with an accompanying piece of physical art.
The artwork, which is noteworthy by itself, is a beautiful portrait combining acrylic paint and assorted prints on a wood canvas. This truly rare idea of combining music with a dedicated physical piece elevates Metaphysical to a complete audio-visual experience.
