A New York man has pleaded guilty to charges related to narcotics over a year after the death of Jeffrey Russ at Electric Zoo 2013.
Today, Patrick Morgan, hailing from Buffalo, officially pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute narcotics.
The victim, Russ, was 23 years old when he collapsed at the popular New York EDM festival. There was evidence he had consumed ecstasy at the event.
In return for his guilty plea, Morgan will be subjected to a stipulating sentencing guideline range, and will more than likely receive less than year in jail if any jail time at all.
Sentencing will take place on March 13.
