What was once a lull on social media is no more. Swedish producer Alesso, who just celebrated his 23rd birthday, is back at it with his new track \”Tear the Roof Up.\” Performed at Ultra this year, the song has had fans holding on for a release. And it\’s finally here with even bigger news.
Amongst the tweets and Facebook statuses that Alesso would post, which were mostly tour dates and photos, he reassured the dance music fan base that his absence wasn\’t all for naught. In May he explained that his lack of tweets was due to the constant studio sessions he was investing time in, and in June, he vaguely tweeted \”Big news on the way!! I\’m so excited !!\”
What is being called \”a new era\” for Alesso should get fans more than excited, especially with his new track, which can only be a glimpse of the future of his music. In a few short words, the Swede announced that he\’s joined a new label, where we can safely assume will be the home of his new material. And let me tell you, new material is definitely on the way.
