We guess you could say shots were fired during a segment on Saturday Night Live where Andy Samberg was portrayed as Davvincii, an overpaid DJ who prolongs dropping the bass. And it\’s pretty hilarious.
While we can all take a pretty good guess at who this made-up character in the leather jacket was supposed to be, the crazed fans in the audience, the appearance by Lil Jon, and the track itself seems oh too familiar.
There may be inevitable controversy on the horizon, but artists like the Chainsmokers and deadmau5 seemed to appreciate a good laugh. You just have to watch for yourself:
