Outkast returned to Georgia tonight at Counterpoint Music Festival, if i\’m not mistaken they should be ending their show sometime soonish. Counterpoint\’s first year was two years ago in 2012, it was held right outside of Atlanta. For their first year putting on a show it was pretty epic. It still stands as my favorite festival i\’ve been to, and i\’ve gone to big ones such as Ultra as well as Lights All Night. This year the festival featured artists such as Pretty Lights, Major Lazer, Krewella, Flosstradamus, Janelle Monae, and Flux Pavilion.
The line up is sick, but extra tid bits featured are morning yoga sessions, morning meditation, sound meditation healing, and monkey chants. Also after the final show of the night Silent Disco is in full swing, where people don headphones and rock out. The sight is quite peculiar but I\’m sure they are having a grand ole time. Also they have a game center with all of your favorite games, like twister and Jenga, incase you decided to take a break from rocking out front and center.
I\’ll post the live sets as soon as they are up, but as of right now we can only imagine how wonderful it was.
