I had a blast at The Chainsmoker\’s show at The MID on January 30th. Fighting the Chicago cold was absolutely worth it to watch these two guys throw down an impressive progressive house set that had the crowd dancing late into the night. I had to chance to meet EDM Chicago\’s winner of the \”#Selfie For The Chainsmoker\’s\” contest and after seeing her hilarious entry, I can see why Alex and Drew were impressed. When they dropped their remix of NONONO\’s \”Pumping Blood\”, I had to get up and rage like it was my job when they threw that one down. If this first show on their tour is any indication of what is to come for these two, the entire U.S. is in for a real party.
Definitely check out their song \”#selfie\” that Dim Mak Records recently released and has already made its way up to #5 on the Beaport Top Download Chart! Also, Keep your ear to the ground, I hear they might be making a colorful trip back to Chicago soon 😉
