Daniel Hernandez, most commonly known as Tekashi 6ix9ine, had a deal with the police to tell everybody he had ever had contact with, regarding criminal activities, and he received a two-year jail sentence which he served 14 months after been released due to the coronavirus pandemic. Since his release in April, he decided to donate some money to charity, but not everybody was happy to receive it.
No Kid Hungry reported, “We are grateful for Mr. Hernandez’s generous offer to donate to No Kid Hungry, but we have informed his representatives that we have declined this donation. As a child-focused campaign, it is our policy to decline funding from donors whose activities do not align with our mission and values.”
Another charity organization to which the rapper donated money, titled The Kooking 4 Kids, shared, “If there is an individual that wants to help address hunger in Los Angeles, we welcome it. How that person wants to live their life is for them to decide.”
