The tennis No.1, Novak Djokovic, urged high-ranked tennis players to donate and want’s ATP Player Relief Fund to support those who are ranked below the world’s top 250.
Novak wants to raise almost $1 million from the top hundred players, who have the top five stars, so each of them would give around $30,000.
World’s number three in tennis, Dominic Thiem, doesn’t want to help financially, saying that “none of them will starve,” and that “many of them are quite unprofessional.”

Dominic said: “None of the lower-ranked players have to fight for their lives. None of them will starve.”
“I’ve seen players on the ITF Tour who don’t commit to the sport 100 percent. Many of them are quite unprofessional. I don’t see why I should give them money,” he then explained.

“If I have to give, I prefer to help people or institutions in need who can use it during this difficult time. No profession guarantees you big successes at the start of your career,” Thiem added.
