Deadmau5 is known to frequent the popular live streaming site Twitch. Usually plugging away in studio sessions or showcasing some unreleased music that he’s been working on but Joel switched it up this time.
During a PUBG stream Deadmau5 popped in on the stream and had it arranged so all of the proceeds would go to Extra Life. Extra Life unites thousands of gamers around the world to play games in support of their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Since its inception in 2008, Extra Life has raised more than $40 million for sick and injured kids. During Twitch user /playbattlegrounds stream, Joel ending up donating a total amount of $25,000.
Although Deadmau5 boasts an image of being a troll with his online antics and arguments, this act of kindness uncovers a different side to the mau5 that is not touched on a lot.
