Summer Set Music Festival is taking the year off in 2018 to reflect
After a fantastic six year run, Summer Set Music Festival announced it will not be returning in 2018.
No cut and dry reason has been given for the 2018 hiatus, leaving many fans surprised and confused. Summer Set stated that it plans on taking a step back and reflecting this year.
Over the years, Summer Set headliners have included Bassnectar, Skrillex, Zedd, Pretty Lights, deadmau5, GRiZ, Zeds Dead and more.
The parting statement from Summer Set reads:
“Happy New Year Summer Set fam. The festival have been an amazing journey for the past six years, and we have cherished the opportunity to build and grow with you, creating memories that will last forever. We are taking time to reflect on the vision and direction of the festival, and therefore will not be hosting Summer Set in 2018. Stay true to your musical passions. #respect”
It sounds like the fest is just taking some time off, and hopefully will come back bigger and better than ever in 2019.
