On the other side of Miami where Ultra isn’t happening and Miami Beach isn’t popping, there is Wynwood, Miami’s local art district and host to III Points Festival. The festival has announced its stellar lineup this year, featuring acts like The xx, Gorillaz, Nicolas Jaar, Richie Hawtin, Brian Eno’s The Ship, Bonobo, RUFUS DU SOL, Lane 8 and many more.
The festival has always run counter to the scene happening during Music Week in March and has always boasted impressive lineups of underground talent in the electronic/house/techno/deep house space. This year the event is taking on some big headliners, and is poised to deliver an incredible experience.
Co-founders David Sinopoli and Erica Freshman have invested heavily in the music scene, with the goal of creating a lineup where newer artists can join. Apart from the music, the festival aims to create an artistic and technology-focused experience for its attendees.
