Rising sensation Gryffin announced his Whole Heart Tour today, starting on October 20 in Phoenix and wrapping up in Boulder, CO on November 12. Fortunately for Chicago, Gryffin is scheduled to appear at Freaky Deaky on October 29.

The Whole Heart Tour is a live tour, which will see Gryffin eschew the typical DJ booth for live instrumentation. Multi-talented, Gryffin plays bass, guitar, drums and keyboard along with preprogrammed loops onstage.
Gryffin, real name Dan Griffith, last played in Chicago at the Mad Decent Block Party in August with a DJ set. Earlier this year, he delivered a spellbinding live show at Double Door.
Known for the distinct personality of his music, he mixes future and tropical house with guitar and bass instrumentation to create his shimmering melodic songs and remixes. His most recent release is the eponymous single \”Whole Heart,\” with vocals from British indie artist Bipolar Sunshine.
