Getter (23), electronic music producer from Los Angeles, CA released a new single, ‘Something New’ off his upcoming EP, ‘Wat The Frick’, which will be available to fans and listeners worldwide on September 2nd. Compared to his signature style of relentlessly cutting synths and frenzy-stirring beats, ‘something new’ truly is something new for Getter fans, as the tune starts off slow with comfort inspiring chords and gradually shifts into a pleasant melody driven finale-like vibe where you can envision the audience’s hands in the air with smiles all around.
Getter has been vocal in sharing the vision that music producers are always growing as artists so their production style and sound will naturally evolve as well, and with ‘Something New’ and other recent releases like his twisted Marshmello ‘Alone’ remix and summer party anthem ‘Wat The Frick’, we can notice that the notorious suh dude really is onto something new and that his musical creativity is not limited to a certain genre.
Getter and his pals – Nick Colletti, Spock, Aryay, and more – are hitting the road next week to embark on the ‘Wat The Frick’ tour starting with Electric Zoo Music Festival (Sept. 4th), so if you feel like recharging your trippy madness gage, don’t miss these friendly goons when they ride through your town.
