The smell of festival season is in the air and there is only one place to celebrate the start of this marvelous season and that is in the beautiful city of Miami, Fla. The week leading up to Ultra Music Festival is an iconic week for anyone who loves dance music or works in the industry. The name is known by many as Miami Music Week. Dj\’s from all different walks of life come together and throw continuous pool parties and after parties all over the city of Miami. SiriusXM is back for the 10th year in a row with a brand new venue with DJ sets and interviews from the world\’s biggest DJ\’s including Afrojack, Armin Van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Kaskade, Thomas Jack and more.
The new home for the SiriusXM Music Lounge will be at 1 Hotel & Homes South Beach at the hotel\’s Private Beach club. The event will take place on Wednesday, March 16—Friday, March 18 at 12:00 p.m. and ends at 6:00 p.m. The 3-day event is not only introducing a new venue to everyone but is is also going to kick off with SiriusXM\’s first-ever deep and tropical house music showcase featuring resident DJs from SiriusXM Chill channel’s new mix series “House of Chill.” During the afternoon on Wednesday, the tropical house king Kygo will be co-hosting the event. This just sounds like every tropical lovers fantasy right now!
Not only is SiriusXM Music Lounge going to be hosted live but it will also be broadcasted live on SiriusXM\’s \”UMF Radio\” channel and will start the coverage on Wednesday, March 16 at 12:00 p.m. and will air through Monday via satellite on channel 18, and through the SiriusXM app on smartphones and other devices, as well as online at siriusxm.com.

After Ultra Music Festival, SiriusXM’s “UMF Radio” channel will feature highlights from this year’s festival and will be available through the SiriusXM Internet Radio App on smartphones and of course online at siriusxm.com. UMF Radio is also a weekly show on SiriusXM\’s Electric Area channel.
